every cloud has a rain
Carven has made dickeys before but I love this high poplin collar tucked into a velveteen party dress. Two messages in one.
I loved this cake from the moment I saw the order. I love any cake with decoration all over the cake, not just on top, or the front or what have you.
I started with the brick wall, with bits of red to look like brick exposed through the cake. I then added the firemen, followed by ladders and hoses, followed by fire and smoke, with I did by piping the color, then smoothing it all together.
mother nature’s got the blues this morning, what with the rain and gray sky and all, so i think this week should be all about navy bags for “a bag a week.” what do y’all think? (in my head, i’m hearing a resounding, “yes, sara! great idea! your hair looks great today!”) if you’re on-board, pick your favorite:
- the foley + corinna mid-city tote?
- the navy victoria leather bag co. “teardrop”?

Michelle Williams was very insecure about her body when she was so pregnant, so Heath Ledger would often put padding under his shirt to appear pregnant as well in hopes of making his wife feel better. This photo was taken the first time Heath did this.
Hopefully Heidi and Seal will see this and remember why they fell in love. Halloween just won’t be the same this year.
